Budget and Me

Earlier this year, I visited IIT Delhi to participate in a panel discussion on Budget 2008. I shared views on how Internet is changing lives (nothing new about it.) I wanted to highlight the fact that government’s enough is not enough to empower India and increase the penetration. If people in my industry were to grow and proposer in India the only way out is that we increase the internet pentration and usage to build a market. I also wanted to highlight how proper budget allocation can help the cause.

Towards the end, I also talked about the upliftment of the masses and bridging business and rural India via the Internet and how it can foster a condusive environment for civil infrastructure growth and ring real time accountability.
